Alright, Marcial!!!! Your skills are improving in leaps and bounds! GREAT start with the cross-hatching drawing showing the form of the fox! Great eye for the contour edges and proportions of its body. Hope you can finish it for the Student Show. Really nice use of angled lines in your cubist (with reference to the artist Georges Braque) abstract drawing.

Welcome to Success Sketchers, Axel!!! You've got a great start in drawing with lines and shapes. Overall, the proportions (sizes of shapes compared to other shapes) are well drawn, especially the frog and toucan. Holding the pencil on its side was a bit difficult at first, but your accuracy of proportions and line work improved with each new drawing. Keep practicing drawing light guidelines for the shapes of things; then finishing with darker outlines.

As you settled into the cross-hatch drawing of the man you laid down some excellent line work!! The contour edges of his profile and proportions of his facial features are well drawn. Nice job on the shading that defines his nose and mouth. I really like how you used lines, patterns, and tones to create a very expressive abstract drawing.
